The Right to Be a Child

This week marks 20 years since the United Nations adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child. It was the first international agreement recognizing that kids are human beings, deserving the full range of human rights. As our country prepares for its biggest feast day, I’m thinking of all the kids who help to bring food to the world’s tables.
